Olusegun, a versatile multi-media artist; a resourceful and skillful individual. He had academic and experiential training in Painting (B.A. Hons) from the University of Benin, Nigeria, 2006. He was born on April 16, 1978 in Lagos and hails from Ogun State, Nigeria, West Africa. He was the best graduating student of Fine and Applied Arts Dept, FCE, Abeokuta, 2000. He was third best in Graphics, Society of Nigerian Artist Competition, 1999. Olusegun Michael Adeniyi’s journey into HIV/AIDS awareness campaign started when he served in Kwara state as a peer educators’ trainer in the National Adolescence Reproductive Health Care & Support, and HIV/AIDS Prevention Project through NYSC, Sponsored by UNICEF. His art is about his dreams, fantasies and emotion, memories and reflection upon his cultural background. In his paintings he explores themes dealing with basic human desires and cultural changes. You will see in his works his connection to his African cultural heritage. He is a multi-media artist, he works in differs medium and techniques. He enjoys adventure, traveling, sight seeing, watching movie and listening to music.
